Any person over 18 years of age, or any legal person represented by its statutory body can become a member of CRAA. The Association offers the following types of membership.
Basic membership
This type is suitable for any natural or legal person that cannot, or does not wish to apply for another type of membership. It is therefore suitable for rock climbers, individual height workers and professional companies, health & safety workers, emergency and rescue services and others.
Instructor
Only holders of a valid Instructor for Caving Single Rope Technique license or of an Instructor for Works at Height license are entitled to this type of membership. Apart from other duties, members are obliged to keep their instructor´s license up-to-date and to continuously educate themselves.
Manufacturer/seller
Any person producing and/or selling personal fall protection equipment and mountaineering equipment is entitled to this type of membership.
Training center
This membership is accessible to any natural or legal person fully compliant with CRAA standards for authorized training centers.
Honorary membership
Proposed by the Association´s committee, this type of membership is granted to all persons with an outstanding contribution to height activities. This type of membership is free and for life.
Instructor Trainer – Lecturer
Only an Instructor Trainer – Lecturer license holder is eligible for this type of membership. Apart from other duties, members are obliged to take part in the Association´s affairs and participate in events and activities of the organization’s bodies.
